A few words on the Heart
"The Healing Heart is a purpose built heart-shaped building made from natural materials and containing two treatment rooms. It was designed to provide a space to support practitioners and their clients in a beautiful, nurturing and non-toxic environment.
The Healing Heart is constructed from locally milled Douglas fir and larch and has a living roof. The interior walls are made of straw bale and the windows and doors are sourced from local reclamation yards. Our building process is very intuitive and the healing heart is a celebration of the synergy between environment, materials and vision.
The building sits in a sheltered garden close to the ancient well and is sited with an awareness of the restorative qualities of the natural world in the healing process. This space allows people to step out of their lives for a moment and refocus on what each individual may need as part of their own journey. A place to rest, realign and return"
